Storm Raven Grey

I don't know who my dad was... but I want to find out.

—Storm Grey

History[]

Storm Grey was born when Luke Castellan, hosting the spirit of Kronos, was told by the Titan to fall for a mortal as his final mission. Confused, Luke wound up in Texas and indeed fell for a woman named Marina Grey. Luke stayed until the birth of his and Marina's daughter whom they named Storm because it was different and beautiful. Kronos forced Luke to leave shortly after, saying he fulfilled his mission.

Childhood[]

Storm grew up not knowing who her father was, and she was fine with that. She claimed she had other things to worry about, like school and swim practice, but deep down, she wanted to know her father. Storm found comfort in movies, specifically superhero movies. She loved the Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, and X-Men, just to name a few. She connected with the character Star-Lord, who, like her, didn't have a father.

Camp Half-Blood[]

A week after Storm turned 14, her mother drove her to camp where she met her friends, Gavin, son of Hermes, Zora Addams, daughter of Athena, Ollie, daughter of Nemesis, and Laura Smith, daughter of Niki. She learned of her parentage when she was claimed, created, and became head counselor of the unofficial Titans cabin.

After training at camp for a while, Rachel Dare, the camps oracle, gave her a prophecy. She would go to the Underworld to retrieve her father's soul.

Personality[]

Storm is a straightforward person, always introducing herself with her first and last name. She's kind-hearted and tends to make friends easy, but she doesn't have very many. Storm likes to understand things to the best of her abilities, but she tends to go with the flow.

Fatal Flaw[]

Storms fatal flaw is her stubbornness, and she knows it. She knows what she wants and how to get that, and she won't take 'no' for an answer.

Appearance[]

Storm Grey is a fourteen-year-old girl with curly blond hair and sky blue eyes. She looks like most Hermes kids, with a sharp nose, up-turned eyebrows, and a mischievous smile. Storm's mother tells her she looks a lot like her father with his same features. When Storm uses her Kronos given powers, her eyes change from blue to gold; this also happened when she was claimed.

Powers and Abilities[]

General Abilities[]

  • ADHD: the supernatural alertness and keen senses that keep her ready for, and alive, in battle
  • Dyslexia: Her brain is hard-wired for Ancient Greek
  • Swordsmanship: a natural sword user
  • Scytheman ship: a natural scythe user
  • Superhuman strength: As a demigod, Storm is stronger than the average mortal. Even when battered and exhausted
  • Superhuman agility: Being a demigod, Storm has shown countless times his amazing agility
  • Superhuman durability: Being a demigod, Storm is more durable than a regular human

Godly Abilities[]

A/N: Storm has both some Hermes powers and Kronos kids powers because she is a child of Kronos and a legacy of Hermes.

Kronos Abilities[]

  • She had Chronokinesis, or the ability to manipulate time.
  • She is masterful with scythes, but are quite adept with other weapons.
  • She is a master in Chronokinetic Combat.
  • She is immune to the effects of time manipulation.
  • She can also manipulate time around an object or area. (Kind of like Dr. Strange.)
  • Due to who their father is, Storm is a very powerful fighter physically and can lift up to 10 times her own weight. Her and her siblings outclass children of Atlas in terms of raw power. Due to their titan heritage, children of Kronos are not opponents that can be easily taken down and they can fight for days without stop due to their inhuman endurance. Any child of their brothers and/or sisters (Zeus, Hades, Poseidon, Hera, Hestia, and/or Demeter), or the said immortals themselves would prove a more significant challenge given that Kronos was bested by the Big Three and their sisters.
  • She can speed up and slow down time. However, this demands a lot of energy.
  • She can manipulate shadows and darkness to their will, but this ability is inferior to the children of Hades' ability to do so.
  • She had some control over magic. It is rather weak compared to the children of Hecate's ability.
  • Like her father, Storm can enter the dreams of a person and manipulate that dream to their will, and the victim will not know it was her.
  • She is an excellent strategists, very intelligent (to a lesser degree than children of Athena), and are able to think two steps ahead of their foes. They can weave the most complex plans, even when doing so is not necessary, as long as the desired outcome takes place and the end result justifies the means. They will never endanger, manipulate, or harm anyone they love unless blinded by rage or done so on accident.
  • She has some control over Tartarus, as that was their father's prison, and can banish opponents to Tartarus by opening up a fissure in the ground. She can also navigate Tartarus without issue.
  • She can somewhat manipulate plant life to their will, as their father is a god of the harvest. They are almost as adept as children of Demeter in terms of farming.
  • She can temporarily negate the powers of other demigods and Gods alike, given their father was once king of Olympus. However, if they hold the negation for longer than 1 hour, it starts to drain them until they collapse from exhaustion. This ability can only be used 3 times a day, but it can affect multiple people at once.
  • She can fire blasts of chronal energy that age targets they hit. Enemies will feel temporarily exhausted and less powerful, while objects will permanently erode and weaken. The effects compound with multiple hits, which could eventually age objects to dust given repeat use.
  • She can greatly accelerate time on an opponent’s body without warning for a few seconds, making them stumble or mistime attacks as they can’t keep up with their own movements.
  • She can release an extremely-short-range pulse of chronal energy that freezes time on inanimate objects, briefly locking them in place. The pulse only extends about 10 cm from their body, and the larger the objects affected, the more they are drained. It can be used to block weapons, but this requires expert timing.
  • She can see a few seconds into the future; allowing them to possibly predict the actions of others, but also obscuring their sight at times.
  • She has an innate “harvest sense”, that lets them sense coming opportunities to capitalize on advantages for maximum effect. This could be in battle or in their day-to-day lives.
  • She has the ability to travel back and forth in time, but they are unable to interact with or change past events, only see the events play out. When they go forward in time they only see “possible” futures, that does not mean those future events will come to pass.
  • She can accelerate and control the growth of nearby living plants, which can be used to create constructs or hamper foes.
  • She has the ability to heal from non-fatal wounds by slowly draining the life essence from surrounding plant life. This could take a few minutes for minor cuts and scrapes to several hours for deep wounds.
  • She is able to “invest” energy into a specific point in the future, weakening themselves for the duration. At the chosen moment, they can harvest the stored energy for an explosive burst of power and agility that is stronger the longer they were drained.
  • She has the ability to slow time in a small area around them roughly three times their size, gradually slowing all movement but their own over ten seconds. People close to them would feel resistance as if underwater, making it progressively harder to move the longer they spend inside the area. Anyone who remains for the full effect will be briefly frozen in time, unable to move at all for a short duration. The user is considerably drained afterward.
  • She can rip the life essence from surrounding plant life in a wide area to create a powerful astral scythe for a time. Any attacks the child makes with the scythe will leech power from the target, exhausting them while empowering the wielder to become faster and stronger. It will also harvest the lifespan of any mortals it kills, letting the child of Kronos stop aging for a number of years based on how long their victim would’ve lived naturally. The scythe only lasts for a short time before fading. Afterward the user would be left very exhausted and they would possibly pass out.
  • Akin to their half-nephews and nieces, children of Hades, she can communicate with and understand snakes and are immune to snake venom. They also can understand and communicate with goats, and sheeps as they are hybrids of goats.

Kronos Traits[]

  • She is a loner/ most people don't like her and she had a hard time making friends.
  • She is generally good at manipulating people into doing what they want, and can easily tempt people to their side. They are also good at getting other people to do the work without so much as lifting a finger. Children of Hermes are the only ones who can contend with this. (This is amplified slightly because of her connection to Hermes.)
  • She is generally more powerful at night.
  • She can suck all the warmth out of the room with her presence.
  • Because of who her father is, Storm is usually observed by the Olympians the most, ready to obliterate them at a moment's notice should they turn rogue. This also makes it somewhat difficult for her to befriend anyone at Camp Half-Blood (and everywhere, she kind of gives off this vibe that everyone avoids). Every child of Kronos despises judgment thrown their way because of their heritage.
  • Storm becomes progressively stronger and more powerful over long battles.

Hermes Abilities[]

  • She has the ability of Clauditikinesis, which allows them to sense, open, manipulate, destroy or otherwise control locks of any form, even applying to digital, electronic, magnetic or otherwise exotic locks.
  • She has a limited form of Chrimatakinesis. A preternatural sense of the economy, what is valuable, what good investments are and the like, they can even tell how much objects are valued at and differentiate real money from counterfeit.
  • She has the ability to run at superhuman speeds.
  • She can sense any physical traps.

Hermes Traits[]

  • She tends to be good with money, whether mortal or other. Is naturally good with technology.
  • She has a sharp noses, upturned eyebrows, and a mischievous smile.
  • She is a "jacks-of-all-trades".
  • She is good at astronomy.
  • She tends to have high knowledge. (but not as high as children of Athena.)
  • She is a good at lying and make up good excuses. Is also incredibly silver-tongued.
  • She is quick-witted, mischievous and short-tempered.
  • She is superior at general athletics and sports than most average mortals/demigods.
