The Poseidon Cabin (Cabin 3) is the cabin for the children/legacies of Poseidon/Neptune, Greco-Roman King of the Sea & Atlantis, Father of Horses and God of the Sea, Water, Rivers, Lakes, Streams, Freshwater, Saltwater, Marine Life, Storms, Tides, Waves, Floods, Drought, Navigation, Seafaring, Ships, Earthquakes, Landslides, Horses, Horsemanship and Chariots. His symbol is the Trident and his sacred animals include all marine animals, but the main ones are Dolphins, Seahorses, Narwhals, Sunfish, Belugas, Rays, Stingrays and Sea Serpents, as well as Horses and Bulls, while his sacred plants are the Seaweed, Pine, Willow and Wild Celery. Poseidon can be found in Olympus, Atlantis, or his Summer Villa.

Claiming: When Poseidon/Neptune claims his children, a turquoise trident appears over the child's head.
Building: Poseidon's cabin is low, long and solid, with all the windows facing the sea. The outer walls are rough gray stone with pieces of seashell and coral and look like the bottom of the ocean floor.
Furniture: On the inside, it has six empty bunk beds and the walls glow like abalone. with bronze hippocampi hanging from the ceiling, strange aquatic plants on the windowsills, walls that glow like abalone, and a giant fountain that the campers can use to send Iris messages.

- Water/Underwater Pressure Immunity: Children of Poseidon can survive falling from really high heights, as long as they land in water. Children of Poseidon, while they are underwater, are resistant to underwater pressure, and cold.

- Water Distillation: Children of Poseidon can manipulate water vapor, steam, fog, mist and condensation.
- Foam Manipulation: Children of Poseidon can manipulate sea foam.
- Liquid Manipulation: Children of Poseidon can control liquids.
- Water Healing: Children of Poseidon can use water to heal wounds, either their own or others.
- Burn Resistance: Children of Poseidon have a higher resistance to burning than most people.
- Atmokinesis (Limited): Children of Poseidon have weather manipulation, but they can only control storms with water. (i.e. hurricanes, squalls, sea storms, typhoons, cyclones, monsoons, heavy rain, ice storms, blizzards, hail) but it is rare.
- Siren Voice: Few female descendants of Poseidon can use Siren voice, magic similar to charmspeak, which can be used to find someone's fatal flaw and their greatest desire, which can then be used to trick, lure, or bribe the victim into doing the users bidding. Users can also use this to convince people to do what they want, but to a less extent than charmspeak.
- Body Water Manipulation: Children of Poseidon can manipulate the water in a persons body. Very few Children of Poseidon can manipulate the water inside of dead bodies, bones and skeletons, especially that of drowned sailors. They can use this ability as a form of necromancy.
- Water Traveling: Children of Poseidon can use water to travel to other places, much like Shadow Traveling for children of Hades
- Liquid Transformation: Children of Poseidon can change their usually solid body, into water. like a Water Spirit, but they can transform back as well. This ability is rare amongst Children of Poseidon (can drain the user)

- Children of Poseidon have perfect bearings, they always know their exact nautical coordinates wherever they are, which allow them to easily navigate their way at sea.
- Children of Poseidon often have green/blue eyes, which can shift shades to match the nearest body of water. During storms, they gain a grey, dark tint, and at sunset, they have a slight golden hue.
- Children of Poseidon sometimes have a strange liking of celery.
