The Melinoe Cabin (24) is the cabin that houses the children of Melinoe, the Greek/Roman Goddess of Ghosts, Spirits, Hauntings, Phantoms, Specters, Restless Souls, Haunted Locations, Sleep Paralysis, Insomnia, Unrest, Mourning, Lamentation, Grief, Loss, Funerals and Burial, as well as being the Bringer of Nightmares and Madness.
Claiming and Cabin[]
Claiming: Melinoe usually claims her children by showing them signs she is there. This can be a whispering in their head, flickering lights, or showing up in person. Sometimes, four ghosts with show up above their head if she cannot be there in person (usually a sign she is in danger or extremely busy).
Cabin: The Melinoe cabin on the outside has a very stereotypical graveyard feel. It has been enchanted by Melinoe herself to have light fog surrounding the cabin (no matter the weather) to give it a very creepy vibe. Above the door there is a stuffed crow in mid caw. On the inside it is surprisingly bright despite the outsides dreary feel, lit by torches of ghost light. On the inside, there are beds with nightlights of ghosts or beasts. The rug has a skull design with fog on it. Usually children of Melinoe can make anything appear in their spot if they wish.
