"Bat shit crazy? Yes. Stupid? Hell no."

Jubilee Madden is the demigod daughter of Dionysus and the biological twin sister of Jevastachi Madden.

History[]

"My mother went mad after she was put in the asylum. Not before it. Ironic huh? "

Birth:[]

There are no cons to being a clear sighted mortal right? Wrong! Ask Jubilee's mother Jeanine Madden for example, who was forced into a asylum in the 1970's for seeing things that nobody else could see. Jeanine's parents not only didn't believe there daughter when she told them about the scary monsters she saw, but shamed her because of it and sent her away when she only seven. Jeanine was mistreated in the asylum with poor living condition, and constantly being drugged with an unnecessary amount of medication to make her more 'subdued.' Jeanine remained in the system well into adulthood until one day when she started accidently skipping her medications, allowing her to finally think clearly. Since then she regularly started skipping her medication on purpose and pretended to be 'cured' just so she could be discharged. Afterwords Jeanine moved to New York city, starting her own business by selling paintings of the different things she saw through the mist. One of her regular customers turned out be Dionysus. The god of madness. The god took a liking into listening Jeannine's rambling about her 'made up' monsters in her head. After getting close Dionysus one day casually mentions that he's a god to which Jeanine replied that she already knew that. After some more time they ended meeting at a party and hooking up, after nine month The Madden twins Jubilee and Jevastachi were born.

Childhood:[]

Jubilee Madden had always felt a strong connection to her demigod heritage. Growing up in the bustling borough of The Bronx in NYC, she lived in a small apartment building with her mother and younger brother. Despite their modest living situation, Jubilee had a pretty solid childhood compared to other demigods. School wise, however, Jubilee was a different story. She was known to be rebellious, to say the least. Jubilee constantly talked back to her teachers and seemed to get at least one phone call home a day. Many of these complaints stemmed from Jubilee's continuous violation of the school dress code (And because she's a defiant little shit). Jubilee attended a prestigious private school where there couldn't be any "unnatural" hair colors. While Jubilee's hair was naturally black, she loved to dye it with different shades of purple and green to represent her godly father and her own rebellious spirit. Despite being sent to the principal's office on a daily basis she rarely got suspended or in detention due to 'anonymous' donations from Jubilee's father. As the days went on, Jubilee's defiance only seemed to grow stronger. She became somewhat of a legend among her classmates, who admired her courage to stand up against authority. But not everyone was impressed with her rebellious nature. Specifically her English teacher Mrs. Laurier, who was the stereotypical white woman teaching in a black school. Mrs. Laurier constantly reported Jubilee for not be a 'proper lady' to which Jubilee would just shrug and go to the principles' office for her daily gossip time.

Coming to camp:[]

One day Jubilee was walking home with her brother before Jevastachi got snatched away by... Mrs. Laurier? Yep, don't you just hate it when your Pre-AP English teacher ends up being an empousa? So does Jubilee, hence why she took her lucky baseball bat and whacked Mrs. Laurier upside the head, instantly breaking her bat but also reducing Mrs. Laurier to dust. Jubilee got to keep Mrs. Lauriers metal leg as a keepsake and brought it home where her mother immediately fainted on sight. And then as if on Dionysus shows up and casually mentions that he's a director at camp Half-blood, and that he'd like to have his children experience camp so they can learn how to properly fight. This causes a big fight between Jubilee's mother and Dionysus as Jeanine doesn't want to let go of her kids. But eventually she gives in after a bunch a tears, screaming and sobbing and on the condition of her kids coming home for the winter months.

Personality:[]

Demeanor:[]

Jubilee is known for her bold and unapologetic nature, never caring about what others thought of her. She walks through life with a sense of confidence and arrogance that could be both alluring and intimidating. Her lack of filter and blunt attitude makes her a force to be reckoned with, as she had no qualms about speaking her mind, no matter how harsh her words may be.

Fatal Flaw:[]

"Why would I apologize if I'm not sorry?"

The phrase 'sorry not sorry' perfectly encapsulates Jubilee's personality. She maintains an unapologetic stance, despite being fully aware of her mistakes, showing a blatant disregard for them. Jubilee's lack of remorse often leaves those around her feeling perplexed and frustrated. While some appreciate her boldness and defiance of societal norms, others are unsettled by her absence of regret. Despite the differing reactions she provokes, Jubilee remains steadfast in her belief that even if she is wrong, it doesn't matter. This attitude can lead to numerous issues in both her mortal and godly realms as she struggles to respect figures of authority and those around her. Jubilee's tendency to say hurtful things without apology stems from her unwavering commitment to her words, even if they sound harsh.

Life at Camp:[]

Claiming:[]

It was a typical day at Camp Half-Blood, with demigods training in the arena, nymphs tending to the gardens, and satyrs playing their panpipes in the forest. But things took an unexpected turn when Dionysus, the god of wine and revelry, sauntered into the dining pavilion with two new arrivals in tow. . As Dionysus casually pointed at them and announced to the entire camp, "These two are my spawn I suppose," the demigods all exchanged confused looks. It was not every day that a god showed up with his children in tow, especially one as nonchalant as Dionysus. As Dionysus made his grand announcement and then promptly disappeared, leaving Jubilee and her brother standing awkwardly in the midst of the bustling dining pavilion, the other campers didn't quite know how to react. Some looked impressed, others bemused, and a few just shook their heads and continued eating their meals.

Cabin:[]

Jubilee resides in cabin number 12, the Dionysus cabin and she does fairly well in their. She maintains a cordial relationship with her cabin mates despite her loud and occasionally obnoxious nature as a lot of her mates share similar personalities to her. However her and her Head Counselor, Pollux, have a strained relationship as Jubilee's is the type of person to constantly take her twin for granted until it's too late. A trait that bothers Pollux to no end.[1]

Jubilee hasn't been on any quest (as of now) ;)

Maxence Remington -

Maxence Remington... was the complete opposite of Jubilee. As the son of Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty Jubilee thought he was a stuck-up pretty boy. He was French for gods sake. Maxence was quiet and reserved, always eager to please others and avoid confrontation. He was a bit of a pushover, but he didn't mind. He preferred to keep the peace rather than stir up trouble.

How could someone like him ever be worthy Jubilee?

Short Story Alert!:

Despite their differences, Jubilee and Maxence had known each other since they were children. They were both part of a group of demigods who had grown up together at Camp Half-Blood, a sanctuary for children of the gods. Jubilee had always been the one to make fun of Maxence's timid nature, calling him "Pigeon Boy" because of a curse that had been placed on him as a child. Whenever Maxence felt strong emotions, he would involuntarily transform into a pigeon, unable to control his own actions.

One day, as they were walking through the woods surrounding the camp, Jubilee couldn't resist taunting Maxence once again. "Hey Pigeon Boy, you're looking a little tense," she said with a smirk. "Are you about to sprout feathers and fly away?"

Maxence blushed and shuffled his feet, trying to ignore her teasing. "Leave me alone, Jubilee," he muttered, looking down at the ground.

But Jubilee wasn't finished. "You know, I've always wondered what it would be like to be a pigeon," she continued, circling around him like a predator. "Do you think I could train you to do tricks for me? Maybe I could even enter you in the next Camp Half-Blood talent show. You could be my little performing bird."

Maxence felt his face grow hot with embarrassment and anger. He clenched his fists, trying to suppress his emotions, but it was no use. In a flash of feathers and a flurry of wings, he transformed into a pigeon right before Jubilee's eyes.

Jubilee burst out laughing, unable to contain her amusement. "Oh my gods, I can't believe it actually worked!" she exclaimed, doubling over with laughter. "This is the best thing that's ever happened to me. Pigeon Boy, you are officially my new favorite pet."

Maxence, now in his pigeon form, felt a mixture of shame and helplessness. He tried to fly away, but Jubilee grabbed hold of him before he could get far. "Oh no you don't," she said, holding him tightly in her grasp. "You're not getting away that easily. You're going to stay right here with me until you turn back into your human self."

Yet surprisingly enough, Jubilee's grip become someone gentle despite it's firmness. "Aw, Who am I kidding? I wouldn't actually hurt you, you're too much of a precious little pigeon for that..." Maxence felt a wave of panic wash over him as he realized what had just happened. He tried to speak, but all that came out was a series of frantic coos.

jubilee simply giggled in response before finally letting the Maxence go. "See you later little birdie..."

The next day Jubilee and Maxence had a actual conversation with each other. Sorta, it was mainly Jubilee flirting with Maxence while Maxence tried not to die from cringe. Eventually Jubilee forced I mean, gently coerced maxence into dating, and they've been together ever since.
