Jevastachi Madden is the demigod son of Dionysus and the biological twin brother of Jubilee Madden.
History[]
Birth:[]
There are no cons to being a clear sighted mortal right? Wrong! Ask Jevastachi's mother Jeanine Madden for example, who was forced into a asylum in the 1970's for seeing things that nobody else could see. Jeanine's parents not only didn't believe there daughter when she told them about the scary monsters she saw, but shamed her because of it and sent her away when she only seven. Jeanine was mistreated in the asylum with poor living condition, and constantly being drugged with an unnecessary amount of medication to make her more 'subdued.' Jeanine remained in the system well into adulthood until one day when she started accidently skipping her medications, allowing her to finally think clearly. Since then she regularly started skipping her medication on purpose and pretended to be 'cured' just so she could be discharged. Afterwords Jeanine moved to New York city, starting her own business by selling paintings of the different things she saw through the mist. One of her regular customers turned out be Dionysus. The god of madness. The god took a liking into listening Jeannine's rambling about her 'made up' monsters in her head. After getting close Dionysus one day casually mentions that he's a god to which Jeanine replied that she already knew that. After some more time they ended meeting at a party and hooking up, after nine month The Madden twins Jevastach and Jubilee were born.

Jevastachi Madden had always felt like a bit of an outsider in his family. As the son of Dionysus, he was expected to embrace his godly heritage and revel in the chaos and madness that his father represented. But Jevastachi was different. He preferred solitude to parties, calmness to drunken revelry. His only real passion was painting, a talent he had inherited from his mortal mother, Jeanine Madden.
Despite his differences, Jevastachi found solace in the drama club at school. As a stage crew member, he could work behind the scenes and avoid the spotlight that made him uncomfortable. He was content to help others bring their visions to life, content to be a quiet observer in the world of performance.
Coming to camp:[]
One day, everything changed for Jevastachi. His sister's English teacher, Ms. Luarier, revealed herself to be a monster in disguise and attacked him, thinking he would be an easy target. But before she could do any real harm, Jubilee swooped in to save the day, wielding a baseball bat with surprising skill. Shaken by the attack, the twins returned home to their apartment, only to find Dionysus casually waiting for them. The god of madness and revelry seemed unperturbed by the events of the day, more concerned with taking Jubilee to Camp Half-Blood, the training ground for demigods like them.
But to Jevastachi's surprise, Dionysus made it very clear that he had no interest in bringing his son along. "You're a disappointment, Jevastachi," the god said dismissively. "You don't know how to have a good time, how to let go and embrace the madness. You're better off staying here with your mother." Jevastachi felt... well, he didn't know how to feel at first. Dionysus wasn't exactly... wrong per say. Jev had always struggled to connect with his godly heritage, but he never thought his father would outright reject him. It was a harsh realization, but it also pissed him off. Who was this random guy randomly telling him that he was unwanted?
For the sole purpose of being the defiant little shit he was, Jevastachi made his way to Camp Half-Blood on his own, much to the surprise of the campers and even his father. When Dionysus tried to pretend to welcome him, Jev simply brushed past him, much to the confusion of everyone around.

Jevastachi is pretty laid back as a person; the 'chill' twin if you will. He minds his own business and would rather do his own thing in the shadows rather than having the spotlight directly on him. However, he isn't shy by any means and doesn't hesitate to speak his opinion. his most known pet peeve is lying, he refuses to tolerate any and all forms of BS.
Especially if you're the type to lie to yourself.
But regardless, Jevastachi was quite popular at camp. More so than his sister. That's because Jevastachi is someone you can talk to about literally anything. Theres no such thing as oversharing when it comes to him. He'll listen.

When he arrived at camp, Jevastachi was greeted by a mix of cheers and curious glances. His arrival was unexpected, but he was determined to make the best of it. When the time came for him to be claimed by his godly parent, he couldn't help but feel a pang of bitterness. Dionysus, appearing before him in all his godly glory, extended an arm as if to welcome him. But Jevastachi couldn't help but roll his eyes and mutter under his breath, "Oh, how gracious of you to claim me now." The god's expression shifted, a hint of amusement in his eyes. "You have quite the mouth on you, Jevastachi," he said, a hint of pride in his voice. It was a strange moment of connection between father and son, one that neither of them had expected.[1]

"Oh, my mom? The absolute queen of making my life a masterpiece... or at least she thinks so. Who knew splattering paint could be our bonding activity? But hey, at least she's not painting my flaws—yet."
Jevastachi's mother, The closest person in his life. Jev adores his mother and loves painting with her whenever he's back home for the winter.
Dionysus -[]
"Dad? Yeah, the one who forgot he has a son, probably too busy perfecting his grape-juice skills or something. You’d think living in the same place would make us best buds, but nope! It’s more of a ‘who can avoid eye contact longer’ competition."
Jevastachi's father, Jev has a very strained relationship with his father. You'd think that they'd be closer since Jev gets to see him everyday at camp. But no. Dionysus made it clear since day one that he preferred his sister over him. While it hurt at first, Jev got over it because he learned that the gods are never the best parents to their spawn. He instead got closer to Chiron instead. Which as made Dionysus jealous despite the god never acknowledging it.
Jubilee Madden-[]
"My twin sister, the certified chaos agent. Seriously, how are we even related? One minute she’s my partner-in-crime, and the next, she’s a few screws short of a toolbox."
Jevastachi's twin sister. Jev still loves his sister. Sure, they're vastly different, but aren't all twins? Despite Jubilee being, well, borderline insane, Jev still associates with her because that's his twin. Regardless of her personality.
Camryn Madden-[]
"Yeah, sure, we’re friends-ish. I mean, it's not like the whole Tower of Nero debacle put a dent in our relationship—oh wait, it did! But let’s just pretend we’re cool and not talk about the times I wanted to strangle him."
Jevastachi's cousin. Their friends I suppose. Though Jevastachi still feels some resentment for the whole Tower of Nero thing despite knowin Camryn isn't completely to blame for it.
