History[]

Early Life[]

Hector Pineda was born to Maria Pineda, a clear sighted mortal and Hermes, god of roads, travel, loads, gymnasiums, athletes, diplomacy, orators, thieves, commerce, trade, invitations, travelers, messengers, and merchants on April 17, 2004, in Springfield, Illinois. His mother had named him after her great grandfather and coincidentally after the Trojan Prince. Hector suspects that this was because his mother wanted him to greatly defend his family or die trying. When Hector was four, Hermes came back in his roman form, Mercury and he and his mother had Hector’s little brother Micheal. By the time Hector was five, Maria had married a man named Daniel who already had seven children named Mia, Leah, Nora, Noah, Elliot, Israel, and Zane. Hector recalls his father’s visit and Hermes had a promise to protect them.

Childhood[]

He lived in Springfield for a few months. He and his mom would light fireworks when blackouts would happen. And Hector recalled playing pranks on his siblings. Hector was taught at home since they moved a lot and usually didn’t have time to register into a school of any sort. Maria taught him about sports and the world while Danny taught him math, science, and the other basics. He was also taught how to speak Spanish, English, and Greek. On his 10th birthday, he was given the weapons and was told to use them only in times of need.

Coming to Camp[]

When Hector was 12 and his brother was 8, the two had been playing at a park in Springfield. The two boys started playing around till someone came and grabbed Hector, Micheal tried to get the person to let go but was pushed away. Hector and the person who crapped him made it to the airport, when a boy with curly black hair grabbed and made the unknown person into dust. The Boy told Hector  that he and some of his friends had followed him all the way here. and he came to save from a fury, he told Hector his name was Isaiah Castor, son of Momos and that Hector had just been claimed that's why that person crapped him, and he would take him to Camp Half-blood he would also call Hector Parents to let them know that their son was taken to Camp. Hector awkwardly agreed (with Mike slowly following them) and the three made there way to camp. When Hector and Mike got to the Hermes cabin, the two were claimed by well...Hermes/Mercury
