Frank Molina is a seventeen year old Greek demigod son of Dionysus and Leah Molina. He is the older brother to Brooklyn "Brooke" Molina. He came to camp at nine years old
"Well of course you won with that sword, even Hector could win that sword and all he could say is “Pog!” [...] SHUT THE HELL UP HECTOR!”
History[]
Early Life[]
Frank was born to Leah Molina a clear sighted mortal and a bar owner and Dionysus, the god of wine, the vine, madness, parties, religious joy (wink wink), Transgender/Non-binary people, and theater on May 12, 2004, in Boise, Idaho. His younger sister, Brooklyn was born on August 13, 2008, to Dionysus’ Roman counterpart Bacchus. They lived in the suburbs as middle-class citizens with their party-crazed mother ever since their father left them. When their mother wasn’t partying, they often helped their mom make kid-friendly drinks for the younger customers and for the people who didn’t drink. Frank was taught different types of wine and could easily tell if someone was drunk. Frank would usually get in trouble because of his ADHD. When he was six, he talked a lot about a man with goat horns on his head and that he had goat legs. He talked about very often, that he had to go to a child psychologist who said he just might have an imaginary friend or he just had an active imagination. By the time Frank was eight, the bar had gone bankrupt and had to close down, causing his mom to fall into depression. She would often drink to cope but she never hit her kid, fearing if she did, she would be hated
School Stuff[]
When Frank started going to school he got in trouble for being rowdy and noisy during class. He was prone to being reckless with his words and actions and was inclined to fidgeting. He would help his mom after school and be very imaginative, often creating stories that either amazed teachers or made them very considered for his mental health since one time in the third grade he wrote very descriptive writing of a squid being teleported out of the ocean and to the Amazon Rain forest and suffocating to death. Anyways, by the time he was eight, he, Brook, and his mother got enough money to move to New York and start a new life. When Frank started school again, he was picked on by older kids but they would somehow fill their backpacks full of ivy. When not at school, Frank’s mother would try her best to support her two children, but they were all way low on money. While at school, Frank and Brook would try to stay as long as they could to stay safe and eat at the after-school program but the teacher would send them home after a while. They would also go to other students' birthday parties just to eat the food they couldn’t have at home and the parents would let them. Frank got decent grades, usually C’s and B’s but sometimes he would get D’s. Frank had made three friends and they would often play tag with them or show them his mom’s plants.
Coming to Camp[]
By the time he was nine, he and his sister were playing in the parking lot of their apartments and were discovered by a hellhound. While playing, the hellhound ran up to them and started to attack them. The two ran for twelve hours trying to escape the monster. As the two tried to catch a break but couldn’t because the hell hound would act up to them. After a while, they ran into the forest leading to Camp. They were led by the voice of their father. Once at the border, Brooke passed out due to exhaustion and Frank had to carry her. When they got there, Frank soon also passed out. An older camper found Frank and Brooke soon and brought them back to the infirmary to get healed. When the two woke up, Chiron explained where they were and why and the two were given a tour. Frank soon met Hector and Ryan and the three soon became good friends. While there, Dionysus waited four months to claim Frank and Brooke, but he eventually did. Frank actually enjoyed his time at camp.
Personality[]
Frank is an independent, unpredictable, and quite confident kid, though at times he can have problems standing up for himself. While most of this stuff, he struggled with as a kid, he still struggles with this kinda stuff to this day, however is much more comfortable with his friends, He is brave most of the time, spontaneous, extroverted, and curious about new experiences. Frank likes to depend on himself and only himself and can be seen as more of a support for others. He frequently makes pop culture references and sarcastic comments to humor him and some of his peers. His sharp tongue can easily make friends or enemies, depending on how others view him. On the other hand, he shows a clever and observant side. He is smarter than what appears to be. He is very hardworking, making him a potentially skilled fighter and strategist. His brain works like a video game, thinking that if he leveled up, he can win his delusional game of life. He doesn’t care about being straightforward and will be very blunt in his words. His observant side is very useful in battle as he can find ways to deduct his opponents’ strategies and corner them. Sometimes he tends to be impulsive about his decisions and is very stubborn that he would endanger himself to get what he desires. He can be slightly bold, insensitive and stand-offish and has a habit of giving people nicknames, as refers to Caspian as "Ocean Man". Other examples include "Know-It-All" for Damian, "Emo Boy" for George, "Trouble Maker" for Hector, and "Charmander" for Ryan. As for someone who gives nicknames he doesn’t mind others give him names, in fact he enjoys whatever nickname he's given. In contrast to his carefree nature, his internal conflicts and inner problems often highlight the more negative aspects of his personality, such as being rude and distant towards friends and family, especially towards his father, Dionysus. That being said, Frank is far from anti-social. He can get along with campers and has several acquaintances.
Fatal flaw[]
Frank's fatal flaw is his inability to stand up for himself. Most people used to pick on him and we wasn't really able to say the right thing to leave him alone, so when people bully him, he goes quite and takes the insults. He is learning to stand up for himself more.
Appearance[]
Frank is described to be a young looking, heavy-set seventeen year old boy of Mexican descent. He is described to have tanned skin, skin cut haircut, brown hair, and violet eyes.
