Diana Silver is a seventeen year old Greek Demigod, the daughter of Eris and Draven Silver. She came to Camp at thirteen years old
"What's fun without a little chaos?"
History[]
Early Life[]
Diana Silver was born to Draven Silver, a clear sighted mortal and Eris, the goddess of strife, spite, discord, and chaos in Carson City, Nevada on November 23, 2004. One evening, when Draven Silver, CEO of a dominant American Energy company, was vacationing in Carson City. He and his associates entered the Casino Fandango undercover. They didn't want to create a scene and risk their gambling habits be splashed across every business news outlet in the morning. Their night went by fast, as they played the tables throughout the main casino floor. Eventually, Draven was invited back into a private room, where he found a large table and seven different figures sitting about. They were about to begin their next poker game when the woman in the center gestured to the man sitting directly across from her. "Take a seat, dynamo. The news of your arrival reached our room a few hours ago, and we've been monitoring you to be one of our players." The woman wore crimson lipstick, had perfectly arched eyebrows, and her eyes struck daggers into Draven's soul. He calmly sat down, in the now-empty seat, across from the woman. Once he was ready, the game was underway. Losing the first, second, and third round, Draven was starting to lose his nerve. Each game ended with the woman and him going head to head, even when he thought he had the best possible hand to win, she still beat him every time. This continued through the fourth and fifth games. Finally, Draven folded and stood up to leave. After all, this was only losing him money. The woman glanced at him, and let him leave. He met back with his associates outside of the main casino floor, and they headed back to their respective rooms for the evening.
When Draven made it back to his room, the door was slightly ajar. After he had left the private game room, the woman had dispersed the other players, and disappeared, reappearing in Draven's room. She had opened the door, for dramatic effect...only. She had noticed a certain charm in Draven and wanted to explore it more. When he entered the room, he was wary. He heard the water being drawn in the bathroom suite. Draven found the woman bathing. Throughout the evening, Eris seductively explained her origin and life ~ she explained who she was to the entranced man. After that evening, Eris knew she was pregnant. She didn't want to care for the child, so she had a servant nymph deliver the baby back to Draven in Nevada. The baby was passed to one of Draven's assistants, who honestly had no clue what to do with it. She presented it to Draven's per the nymphs instructions. But the businessman simply said it was impossible and couldn't have been his child, and told his assistant to find a solution. His assistant wasn't going to give the child away, she had always wanted one of her own, so she started taking care of it. Eventually, the child grew up. Her new mother, Latisha had named the child Diana after her grandmother, but she called her Ana for short. Diana soon adopted the nickname “Chaos'' when she was nine years old.
Monster Attack[]
When Diana was thirteen, she attended an office party with her mother at Draven mansion. It was the end of the fiscal year, and they were celebrating another year of existential growth for the company. Latisha had been promoted to a senior advisor in the company. Draven greeted Latisha and her daughter when they arrived. He felt a strange connection to the little girl. Her eyes were piercing, and she looked like someone he knew, but he couldn't figure out who. Eventually, throughout the party, he remembered the woman in Carson City. The fact that Latisha, had been the one to introduce him to the baby he told her to get rid of - clicked in his brain. That girl was his biological daughter. He just felt it. But before he got the chance, he noticed Diana with another girl who looked to be a similar age. Diana didn't like the party at all, she had met another girl, who said her dad worked for the company. Her name was Jane...classically cliche Diana had thought. They were standing at the base of the stairs, leading down into the furnished backyard. Jane looked at Diana when no one was looking, she pushed the girl down the several concrete stairs. Diana wasn't a weakling, though she was shocked and screamed. Jane sprouted wings and claws and pounced down at the demigoddess. Diana creamed, which drew the attention of the other house guests, but they only saw the two girls squabbling. Latisha ran over and tried to separate them, she slapped Jane (who she still saw as a human, due to the mist) Jane, or harpy-Jane, stabbed Latisha with one of her claws. Diana freaked out, her rage started growing, and she felt like she couldn't control herself anymore. She lunged at the harpy and knocked her into the side of the concrete staircase.
Diana felt energized, and a burst of energy released from her body as she snarled at the harpy. Jane got up, and pounced back at the demigoddess. When she touched her arm, she reeled back, as it burned due to the energy released. Diana had no clue what was happening, but she just kept getting angrier. Her rage took over and she grabbed a loose stone and hurled it at the harpy, slapping it in the face. The harpy didn't retreat, but it was down for a second. Diana didn't wait for it to regain its senses, she ran back up the stairs and through the main entrance to the mansion. The Harpy met her on the front porch as she was trying to escape to their car. When she opened the door, the creature burst in, most of the guests were outside, and didn't follow the angry girl into the house. The standoff between the two mythic creatures was tense. Finally, after several minutes of violence between the two, the fight let itself into the kitchen. Diana used everything in sight to fend off the beast. She threw knives, and other utensils, but they didn't do much damage. Finally, she grabbed a glass pitcher, and when the beast lunged at her again, she smashed it into the creature's head. The shards rained down on the beast, and Diana used a knife to stab it. Finally, it turned to dust. Diana freaked out. She ran outside to her mom's car, and tried to start it.
Aftermath[]
Draven and her mom ran out front, to Diana it had felt like forever, but it had only been a few minutes since she had fallen down the stairs. Diana was crying while sitting in the front seat. Draven suggested they stay, but Latasha refused and took her daughter home. Later that week, Draven asked Latisha to bring her daughter to their office building, as he wanted to speak with her. Latisha relented and brought her to the office, she didn't want to let her daughter go but knew that Draven had figured he was the father. At the party, he had his new assistant use a strand of hair they had found after the fight, so see if he was the father. HE knew he was, but wanted confirmation. He explained all of this to Diana and showed her the paperwork that proved it. He also knew that if what her biological mother said was true, he needed to get his daughter to a safe place. Latisha knew she had to give up her daughter, even though she raised her. She was a strong Christian woman, who did it for the glory of her God, and not for any selfish gain. She did love the girl but also wanted what she thought was best for her.
Coming to Camp[]
Draven had her choose a new wardrobe to pack, and new items to bring with her before he had her fly her to Camp Half-Blood. Draven was aware of Camp Half-Blood, because Eris had warned him about the measures he would need to take if they did conceive. She also told him that she wasn't interested in a child unless he got it to the Camp. The only reason Draven didn't accept the child in the first place, was because he had convinced himself that his night with Eris had been a dream. IT wasn't until he saw the girl, who had the same eyes as her mother, that he realized Eris was real, and he had a daughter that he neglected for so many years. He knew there wasn't any way that he could just insert himself into her life, and be an actual father, so he thought it was best to follow the instructions he had been given and get her to Camp Half-Blood immediately. At camp, Eris claimed her only a few days after her arrival. For the first several years at camp, Eris was only a summer camper. She spent the school year switching between living with her dad, and Latisha, whom she considered her mom. Finally, after four years, she became a full time camper, and moved exclusively to camp.
Personality[]
Diana’s personality is all over the place. She tends to be a sore loser due to her being the daughter of the goddess of Strife. She loves chaos and anarchy is very rebellious. She gets along with the children of Ares and Sadie and is mostly on good terms with the UnderSquad and her other cousins but most of the school dislikes her due to her chaotic ways. She is also fond of anarchy and almost got kicked out of the Squad for almost trying to destroy it, so to keep that from happening she made an Oath on the Styx so she wouldn’t betray the Squad. Diana has stated that she had given up her violent ways. However, she still showed no hesitation in defending herself. Despite this ruthless and materialistic nature, she will do everything in her power to protect those she cares about, with or without bloodshed. After meeting new friends that she soon grew close to, she shows a playful, sarcastic side and tends to joke satirical humor around them. She is also quite acquisitive, always on the search for the most powerful items in the world. To obtain such items, she will either barter, manipulate, and even kill others to get these objects. Insults never bothered her as she is used to it most of the time. Her constant smirking is there to fool adversaries into letting their guards down, so she could strike at the right moment. She is outgoing and never backs down from duty or challenge, but if you make her angry, she will never forget what you have done and will become a very hostile girl who hates you. Diana is an independent individual. Diana is intimidating toward people, being confident and acknowledged on how to use her words when it comes to manipulating people. Diana is fiercely loyal to those she cares about, and becomes a down right menace to those who upset or wrong her. She has a strong sense of right and wrong and will stand up for what she believes is right with un-moving, fiery, stubbornness. Her behavior in general tends to err on the chaotic side. While being typically peppy and light hearted, she craves to be in the midst of unstable situations. Because of this, the battlefield is one of her favorite places. In her down time, she loves to be active and pull pranks. She is impulsive, and rarely thinks before she speaks or acts. Diana is often described as quick to cause arguments, misbehave and fights between others.
Fatal flaw(s)[]
Diana's first fatal flaw is her everlasting loyalty. She is willing to go greater lengths for anyone she considers a friend. Another of her flaws is her wrath. When dealing with someone who she believes wronged him, or one of her friends, she will go to extremes with her actions, only being fueled by sadism.
Appearance[]
Diana is described by many members of the UnderSquad to have messy auburn hair tied in a braid held together with a Golden apple hair clip, silver-gray eyes, and light/pretty pale skin. She is often known to wear a leather jacket, a black skirt, a grey tube top, and black boots. Another on of her main outfits in the same leather jacket, a maroon shirt that says "Chaos Kid" in golden writing, the same black shirt and boots. She often has maroon, gold, silver or black in her clothing.
