The Deimos Cabin (Cabin 57) is the cabin that houses the children/legacies of Deimos/Metus, Greek/Roman god of terror and twin of Phobos/Timor.

Claiming and cabin[]

When Deimos/Metus claims his children, a black cloud appears over the children's head, and the cloud looks differently to others, depending on the viewer's view on terror.

The cabin itself is like the Phobos cabin, but bigger, without the stuffed lion head, and on the inside, the pictures show scenes of terror. However, the most notable thing about the cabin is the large, underground library, which they share with the Phobos Cabin. Their side of the library contains more existential horror stories, as terror is a stronger form of fear, containing such books as: The Call of Cthulhu and The Shadow over Innsmouth by H.P. Lovecraft, The Cask of Amontillado by Edgar Allan Poe, and "IT" by Steven King.

Powers and traits[]

  1. Children of Deimos are able to manipulate the feeling of terror.
  2. Children of Deimos are generally more powerful in the presence of fear and terror.
  3. Children of Deimos have an innate knowledge of a person's view on terror.
  4. Children of Deimos tend to be immune to fear and terror.
  5. Children of Deimos can sense fear around them.
  6. Children of Deimos are good at scaring crowds of people, rather than focusing on a personal fear.
  7. Children of Deimos can learn a person's fears and insecurities for psychological warfare by looking at that person, whether incorporeal or corporeal. For example, if a person has an abstract fear, e.g. acrophobia or athazagoraphobia (the former being a fear of heights and fear of being forgotten, ignored, or forsaken for the latter), then the child of Deimos can emit a fog that makes their victim hallucinate that they are suddenly extremely high in the air with the sensation one would get of falling from the sky, when in reality they are still on the ground, or make their think that the people who love them are suddenly forgetting their existence even if that is not actually occurring. The more terrified and frightened the victim is, the more powerful, realistic and vivid the hallucination is. However, the child of Deimos should only focus on one target, otherwise they could become an amalgamate of various fears in attempt to scare both targets.
  8. For fears that are corporeal, children of Deimos can shapeshift into that object or creature of a person's fear. The more terrified the victim, the more realistic the transformation is (e.g., if someone is terrified of snakes, then the child of Deimos as a snake will start to gain actual attributes of a snake due to being more powerful from fear, such as venom, fangs, etc.) and like with incorporeal fears, they should only focus on one target for maximum effectiveness.
  9. Children of Deimos can absorb feelings of terror and fright from a person's being to either heal or defend, the effect being greater depending on how frightened the victim(s) are. But, those new to this ability can inadvertently calm that person/that group of people down from terror, meaning they have to frighten those people all over again to absorb more fear, or they can spread the collected feeling of terror to multiple targets to distract them.
