—Coral to one of the Hunters of Artemis during the Senior Council meeting |
Coral de León is the Greek half-blood daughter of Mexican actress Beatriz de León and the Olympian god Dionysus, as well as a legacy of the Greek Goddess Hecate.
History[]
Early Life[]
Coral was born on August 5, 1992 in Baja California, México, specifically in the city of Tijuana to Dionysus and a mortal actress named Beatriz. Her father stayed with Beatriz to raise Coral for roughly eight months before disappearing. Her mother started drinking shortly after her father disappeared and her grandmother Aurelia had to intervene before things got worse. Beatriz tried her best to keep Coral out of the media. Aurelia and Gustavo de León, Beatriz's parents, raised Coral for most of her early years, as her job as an actress kept her extremely busy and she found herself constantly far away from home. Despite wanting to have more time with her daughter, Beatriz enjoyed acting, and wasn't quite sure if she was ready to step away from the stage just yet. When Coral was three, Beatriz married her step-father Agustín Gonzales, who was a photographer. Beatriz decided to keep her maiden name instead of taking her husband's surname. When she was seven, her parents adopted a five year old named Antonio Fuentes. A couple of months later, the family moved to New Jersey.
Willow Creek Elementary[]
Coral and Antonio arrived at Willow Creek a month before Thanksgiving break. Coral was placed in Second Grade and Antonio in Kindergarten. Their teachers were kind enough to help the kids learn English, and afterschool, an english tutor would be brought to the de León residence. At first, the staff and students treated Coral and Antonio like any other studens, but soon weird occurrences started happening at the school, and all of these occurrences could be traced back to Antonio and Coral. The students and staff alike started calling them "Spawns of the Demon", among other horrible names, and would even exclude the sibilings from school events, fieldtrips, etc. Beatriz, horrifed at the staff's treatment of her children, withdrew them from the school and ended up registering them somewhere else.
Northview Academy[]
After the Willow Creek incident, Beatriz had homeschooled her children, not wanting the same thing to happen again. After a few years, her husband wanted Beatriz to enroll the kids at Northview Academy, a very prestigious boarding school located in Berkely Heights, New Jersey.
